Shirley D. Stayton, 70, of Savannah, Georgia (formerly of Adair County) passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born August 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Clarence and Della Sneed. She was also preceded in death by one sister: Annie Beula Sneed.
Shirley was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church where she volunteered and served on various committees for well over 30 years. She enjoyed painting and reading, but her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

5 grandchildren: Taylor, Chase & Brandon Stayton, Anna Fields and Laura Stayton
Visitation: 6:00pm-7:00pmET on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 followed by a brief service at the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, located at 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia with Dr. Jim Staubes officiating.
A private burial will be held at the Antioch cemetery in Columbia, KY.
