Harry Hawthorne Barnes, Jr., 93, of Greensburg, KY and Meridian, Mississippi passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Annie Eugenia Tatum Barnes and son Dennis Barnes. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. He graduated from Mississippi State University and John Hopkins University.
SURVIVORS: 1 son and daughter-in-law: Bruce and Millie Pickett Barnes of Greensburg; Special friend: Robin Jewell; 1 granddaughter: Beth Barnes, 2 step grandchildren: Sabrina and Summer Sebastian, 1 great grandson: Julian Money
The family chose cremation. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
