Garvey Stephens, 81, of Cynthiana, KY passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Russell County, KY on September 3, 1946 a son of the late Cornelius and Delphi Gosser Stephens.
In his early life Garvey was a carpenter and plumber by trade. He enjoyed playing cards and horse racing.
SURVIVORS: His Spouse: Freida Stephens, 2 Sons: Rodger (Faye) Stephens of Cynthiana, KY and Michael Stephens of Georgetown, KY, 1 Brother: Mervin Stephens of Harrison County, 1 Sister: Rosaleen (Cordell) Luttrell of Casey County, KY and 3 Half-Sisters: Angie Davis, DeVonda Luttrell and Judy Sharp, 2 Grandsons: Chad (Nancy) Stephens of Georgetown, KY and Shane (Ashlee) Stephens of Richmond, KY and 3 Great Grandchildren: Destani, Ryan and Rylee.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were 2 Brothers: Edgar and Vertis Stephens, 2 Sisters: Norma Caruthers and Hylia Jean Sallee, 3 Half Brothers: Caroll, Jerry and Jackie Stephens and 1 Half Sister: Jewell Stone.
