George W. Austin, 81, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10:15 P.M. at Diversicare of Glasgow. He was born April 26, 1937, in Albany, KY.
He served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict, was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church in Green County and a truck driver for Ruan Transport for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan May Roberts Austin on May 16, 2007.

3 children – Judi Tester of Columbia, Dave Roberts of Minnesota, Phil Austin of Colorado
4 grandchildren – Jaremy (Ann Marie) Austin, Tony (Alyse) Roberts, Michael (Lindsey) Tester, Wayne (Melinda) Tester

Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Greasy Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Roberts officiating
Burial: Greasy Creek Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 after 5pmCt and after 8amCT on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the church
