Dorothy Knight, 92, of La Center, KY died on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:50 p.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. She was a daughter of the late James and Janie Mae Louise Romain Myatt.
Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of La Center, KY. She loved flowers, gardening and upholstering furniture. Dorothy loved to watch birds, especially Martins and Hummingbirds. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dewey Knight; 2 brothers, Jessie Myatt and Jimmy Myatt and 3 sisters, Beulah Peyton, Merle Boulton and Mary Taylor.

1 brother: Kenneth Myatt of Marion, KY
2 sisters: Carolyn DeGroot of Knoxville, TN; Hazel Wurth of Boaz, KY.
3 grandchildren; Matt (Michelle) Minton of Sweeden, KY; Brandon (MacKenzie) Minton of Columbia, KY; Kaleena Dowdy of Kevil, KY
5 great grandchildren; Jaxon, Branson, Bryson, Collyn & Keaton
