Goldie “Bell” Jones, 91, formerly of Adair County, KY passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at 8:05 PM at Green Hill Rehab & Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY. She was born on Oct. 23, 1926 in Adair County, the daughter of late William Silas & Anna Lou Burdine Burton.
Goldie was the widow of Clint “Buck” Grant & Billy Gene Jones. She was also preceded in death by three brothers & three sisters: Raymond Ray Burton, Vernon Burton, Hollis E. Burton, Eula Warren, Beulah Caldwell & Nannie Overstreet.
She was a member of Egypt Christian Church, she loved flowers, crafts, fishing, one of the organizers of the Knifley Fire Department, active in the Democratic Party & worked to help raise funds for the upkeep of Bearwallow Cemetery.
