Betty I. Burton, 77, of Hope, IN, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home. Born on October 21, 1940 in Wayne County, KY, Betty was the daughter of Loren and Glenna Hancock. She married Leamon Burton on March 15, 1961, who survives.
Betty retired from Columbus Sportswear. She attended The Ridge and Northview Assembly of God. Betty liked to read and enjoyed walking. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Charlene Taylor and Jewell Law; brother, Lonnie Hancock; and infant sister, Geneva R. Hancock.
Funeral Service: Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Hancock, Randy Burton, and Eric Burton officiating
Visitation: Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home
Burial: Hope Moravian Cemetery
