Norman “Bally” Janes, 69, of Campbellsville, KY died Monday, April 23, 2018 at 9:17 A.M. at his home. He was born June 19, 1948, in Green County, KY to the late Galeon and Sallie Keltner Janes. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Lewis, Bill and Johnnie Janes, Ruth Burris, Ernestine Kemp.  Bally was a self-employed electrician and plumber, could fix about anything and enjoyed fishing.  He was a member of Pollard’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

His wife – Janet Absher Janes of Campbellsville

2 daughters – Angie Adams and husband Mark of Campbellsville, Schella Pittman and husband David of Georgetown

3 brothers – Ollen, Herbert & Payne Janes all of Milltown

4 sisters – Freida Smith of Louisville, Retter Bailey of Campbellsville, Sue Cundiff & Phyllis Stone both of Columbia

5 grandchildren – Kayla, Danielle & Alaina Adams, Shelby & Cali Pittman

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

 

Funeral Service: Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Pruitt & Bro. Roy Phillips officiating

 

Burial: Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery

 

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Thursday
