Violet Buis, age 86 of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Somerset, KY on May 14, 1931, a daughter of the late James B. & Minnie Meeks Lawless.
Violet was the widow of Ancil Buis who passed away on May 7th, 1990. She was a housewife, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Rich Hill Christian Church.

Besides her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by one son: Steve Buis, one grandson: Trey Buis & six siblings.
