Elsie Marie Gaskins, age 95 of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:35 P.M. at Russell County Hospital. She was born in Jamestown, KY on February 23, 1922 to the late Vadie & Mary Magdalene Wooldridge Guffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Ray Gaskins; 3 sons: Ethan, Solomon & Emmanuel Gaskins; 1 daughter: Katherine Gaskins.
She attended New Hope Separate Baptist Church and the Adair Friends and Neighbors Adult Daycare.

14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
Funeral service: Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Coffey officiating
Burial: New Hope Cemetery
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 after 4:00 P.M.
