Louise Janes, age 91 of the Sparksville Community of Adair County, KY passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at 10:56 AM at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY after an illness. She was born on Sept. 14, 1926 in Adair County, the daughter of the late Jack & Edith Hayes Roach.
Mrs. Janes was the widow of Burley B. Janes who preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1990. She was also preceded in death by three brothers & one sister: Clell Roach, Norman Roach, Johnnie Roach & Dorothy Garnes.
She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, had worked at Osh Kosh in Columbia & was a homemaker.

1 Daughter: Beverly (Wayne) Harris of Columbia, KY
2 Grandchildren: Shawn Harris & Shanna Harris
1 Great Grandchild: Neila Harris
1 Half-sister: Janet Roach of Versailles, KY
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends survive
Funeral service Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM CT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Clergy officiating Bro. Russell Janes & Bro. Troy Elmore.
Visitation after 3:30 PM Thursday.
Interment in Antioch Cemetery.
