Jimmie Dale Bennett, age 74 of Columbia, KY died Thursday, December 14, 2017 1:06 PM as the result of an automobile accident that occurred on Russell Road in Columbia, KY. He was born on Feb. 25, 1943 in Adair County, a son of the late Frank & Lorena Coomer Bennett.
Jimmie was a member of Egypt Christian Church where he served as a Deacon and member of the Men for Christ. He was retired from IMO Industries, had served his country in the United States Army & was an avid rabbit hunter.
He was preceded in death by one brother Lyndell Bennett & his late wife Opal, one sister Barbara J. Murrell & her late husband Tommie Murrell.

Funeral service Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Egypt Christian Church. Clergy Officiating Bro. Paul Patton & Bro. Hugh Withers.
Interment Morris Chapel Cemetery Weed Ridge.
Visitation after 3:30pmCT Saturday after 7:00amCT Sunday until time for the funeral service at Egypt Christian Church.
