Dr. Joe David Bernard, 84, of Lexington, KY (formerly of Russell County) died Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Florida.
Dr. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Glendo & Pauline Bernard; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill Stover & Robert L. Bertram.

His loving wife, Libby Bernard, Lexington, KY
3 children: Dr. Joe Bernard (Tracy), Charlotte, N. C.; Dr. Clark Bernard (Kylie), Bowing Green, KY; Bethany Bernard Rogers, (Preston), Lexington, KY
9 grandchildren
2 sisters: Bettie Carol Bernard Stover, Sumter, N.C.; Glenna Jean Bernard Bertram, Jamestown, KY
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive
