Wilmer Pendleton, 89, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 12:35 P.M. at Charleston Healthcare Center in Danville

A native of Adair County, he was born December 25, 1927, to the late Benjamin I. and Emma Lee Hardwick Pendleton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Omer and Tyler Pendleton, five sisters; Lorena Weatherford, Pairlee Montgomery, Dellie Burton, Eula Brockman, Lois Curry and his long-time companion; Ila Chilton.  He attended the Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a former restaurant worker.

Survivors include:

2 brothers – B.I. Pendleton of Greenwood, Indiana, Charles Rollin Pendleton of Whiteland, Indiana

Ila Chilton’s daughters – Marlene Darland and Lois Harmon both of Harrodsburg, Gloria Sullivan of Columbia, Pat King of Danville

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Darland officiating
