Dexter Dewey Berndt of Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was 45.
Born May 6, 1972, in South Williamson, KY, he is the son of Betty Gillispie Preece and the late George Preece. Dexter was a heavy equipment operator and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Preece of Kermit West Virginia; his fiancé, Misty Cain of Liberty; 3 sisters, Vivian Ross of Inez, Kentucky, Deirdre Fletcher of Liberty, and Sonya Hurley of Kermit, West Virginia; and a host of friends.
Funeral services are 7:00pmEST Monday, November 6, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Patton officiating. Cremation rites will follow the service.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pmEST at the funeral home.
