Warnell Wheat, 67, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 7:10 P.M. at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
She was born November 16, 1949, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to the late John Milton and Emma Jean Sebastian Bailey.
She was a member of Second Christian Church and made numerous friends during her pre-retirement years at Fruit of the Loom and Wal-Mart.
Survivors include:
Her husband of 49 years – Billy Wheat of Columbia
Two children – Audra Wheat of Louisville and Russ Wheat (Chelle) of Columbia
One brother – George Ray Bailey of Campbellsville
Four granddaughters – Hali Wheat, Kyra Robinson, Brittany Grant, Ch’Dara Wheat
One great-granddaughter – Te’oynna Young
Three sisters-in-law
Special cousin – Pat Briggs of Louisville
A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Carter, Sr., delivering the eulogy
Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery
Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Thursday
