Boyd Meece, age 83, Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Liberty Care Center.

 

He was born Tuesday, May 8, 1934 in Russell County, KY, the son of the late Martha Catherine Meece-Roy and Sylvester Meece. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Brown.

      Wife: Doris Downs Meece, Russell Springs, KY    

      3 Daughters: Dana Brown, Livingston, KY; Lisa Sullivan, Cincinnati, OH; Sherry Brown, Russell Springs, KY    

      1 Son: Scott Brown, Tuscaloosa, AL    

      1 Sister: Rosie Holt, Cincinnati, OH    

5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. 

 

Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Joe Gosser officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4:30pm-7:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 KY-80, Nancy, KY
