Kathryn Farris, age 89, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milton Wright and Mary Lizzie Skaggs Wright, was born July 8, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:32 P.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and had attended Campbellsville Baptist Church. Kathryn was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Shirley Underwood of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Shannon Underwood of Ashland, Brett Underwood of Lebanon and Mandy Atkins of Columbia, Tennessee; two step-grandchildren: Grant Patterson and Tanya Corbin of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Hunter Underwood and Kasey Underwood of Campbellsville; one step-great-grandchild, Destiny Corbin of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Irvin Wright and Brenda Montgomery of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Underwood, April 8, 2006 and two brothers: Eugene Wright and Harold Wright.
