William “Sapp” Johnson, 80, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was born August 17, 1937, in Taylor County, to the late William Henry and Cleophas Goldsmith Johnson and was preceded in death by his wife; Geneva Flowers Johnson in 2007.

3 daughters – Linda Bea Johnson of Illinois, Sherri Matthews (Oscar) and Britnee Posey all of Campbellsville
1 brother – Don Johnson (Rose) of Florida
3 sisters – Harriett Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Adeline Johnson of Aurora, IL, Jackie Johnson of Campbellsville
3 grandchildren – Shaun Johnson (Tanisha), Sherita Johnson, Antaues Simmons (Liz)
9 great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
