Janet Elaine Franklin, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late John William and Geneva Levetta (Sosbe) McColley, was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on June 7, 1950. She departed this life on Friday, November 6, 2026 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Franklin had made a profession of faith in Christ; she was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to the love of her life, Mr. Stephen L. Franklin, on June 6, 1970. They remained a devoted couple until his passing on October 15, 2005.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Fern Joyce Harris, Sanford “Skip” McColley, Mark McColley, and Roger McColley.

2 brothers: John McColley and Daniel McColley, both of Greensburg

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives & friends

The family chose cremation. All services were conducted privately.
