Jerry Julian Jeffries, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Tubal Edgar Jeffries and Ona Vera Langdon Jeffries, was born on February 6, 1946 in Greensburg, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 in Louisville. 

He was of the Christian Faith and a retired employee of Batesville Casket Company. Mr. Jeffries was a veteran who served honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam. He loved fishing, taking care of his yard, and just “piddling”.

1 son: Greg Jeffries of Campbellsville

1 grandson: Cameron Jeffries (Andrew Alcaraz) of Charlotte, NC

1 brother: Marion Aubrey Jeffries (Jean) of Mississippi

4 sisters: Phyllis France (Mark) and Patricia Turner both of Louisville, Sharon Burden (Herschel) and Pamela Keller (Gary) both of Taylorsville

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings: Lex Jeffries, Terry Jeffries, Jimmy Jeffries, Earl Jeffries, Betsy Bugg, Anita Houchens, and Judy Sprowles.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 1:00pmET at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home ACTON - MANNSVILLE CHAPEL, 250 Wooleyville Road with Rev. Paul Patton officiating

Interment: Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

Visitation: After 11:00amET on Tuesday
