Lucy Wilcoxson Sutton, 90, was born July 22, 1936 in Green County, KY to the late Lymon and Ellie Mae Rodgers Wilcoxson. She departed this life Friday, October 23, 2026 in Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was Baptist. She was retired after working at Fruit of the Loom for 34 years. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Edward Sutton; one son and daughter-in-law: Randall & Pat Sutton; one brother, Lyman Wayne Wilcoxson; four stepbrothers: Oliver, Goble, Tom Ed, and Austin Franklin; and four stepsisters: Catherine Reynolds, Marie Parsons, Nora Dale Paxton, and Florence Osher.

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters: Patsy Wright & husband Hubert, and Elishia Donna Sutton, both of Greensburg

1 grandson: Trevor Wright & wife Natalie of Greensburg

1 brother: Lloyd Allen Wilcoxson of Pennsylvania

1 sister: Lottie Curtis of Campbellsville

Funeral Service: Monday, October 26, 2026 at 1:00pmCT at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Jordan Abell officiating 

Burial: Greensburg Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Monday

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and those can be made at the funeral home.
