Lera Ann Sprowles, 84, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Thomas Sharp and Hallie Milby Sharp, was born October 26, 1941 in Green County, KY. She died at 3:22 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of 3Trees. Lera was a loving wife and mom and enjoyed all of her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. She also enjoyed reading her Bible.

Her husband of 65 years: Glevins Sprowles of Campbellsville

1 son & 1 daughter: Steve Sprowles & wife Michelle and Lisa Gupton & husband Ronnie of Campbellsville

4 grandchildren: Brandon Gupton & wife Jennifer, Jade Gupton Sanders & husband Neil, Blake Sprowles & wife Ashley, and Lexi Turpin & husband Brady

5 great-grandchildren: Drake Sanders, Dawson Sanders, Gentry Turpin, Chandler Turpin and Tripp Sprowles

1 brother: Jimmie Sharp & wife Donnetta of Campbellsville

Lera was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Virgil Sharp, Elwood Sharp, Bill Sharp, David Sharp, Riley Sharp, Geraldine Myers, Christine Milby and Florine Colvin.
