Carol Sue “Granny” Marshall, 86, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Twyman Marshall and Lora Alice Cox Marshall, was born on June 7, 1940 in Greensburg and departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Green River Trails Nursing Home.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

3 sons & daughters-in-law: William & Shirley Hammons of Greensburg, John Lee Wilson of Campbellsville, and Hershal & Lorin Fisher of Greensburg
1 daughter: Carla Brockman of Owensboro
9 grandchildren: Brooke Riley, Dalton Ripley, Harley Fisher, Brandon Wilson, Justin Wilson, Brianna Wilson, Ribert Bowman III, Sabrina Dial, Marlee Hammons
2 great-grandchildren: Leddie and Ryder Fisher
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Marty Hammons; a daughter, Vickie Sue Dyer; one grandchild, Marty Hammons; two brothers: Joseph W. Marshall and James B. Marshall; and one sister, Jane Allen Coffey.
