Luther Nelson Veatch, 71, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Edgar Veatch and Bertha Nelson Veatch, was born on July 17, 1955 and departed this life on Monday, September 28, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

Luther was a carpenter and laborer doing roofing, building houses, and various construction jobs. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, collecting Camel Cigarette memorabilia, and spending time with his family and friends.

SURVIVORS:

2 children: Travis Veatch (Anita Jenelle) of White House, TN, and Troy Veatch of Campbellsville

3 sisters & 2 brothers: Mildred Haynes (Raymond), Carl Veatch (Ruth), Mary Sprowles (Paul), Herbert “Hub” Veatch (Brenda), and Connie Flechler (Dennis)

Other relatives & friends including his special friend, Steve Hess

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Veatch, and by two brothers and one sister: Andrew Veatch, Joseph Veatch, and Dollie Flechler.

Cremation was chosen according to Luther’s wishes and there will be no public services.
