Margaret Newton Gadberry, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Oscar Newton and Gladys Rafferty Newton, was born February 23, 1950 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 4:24 A.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for 25 years and a retired co-owner of Lee’s Famous Recipe in Greensburg with her husband Larry for 22 years.

She united in marriage to Larry Gadberry on February 20, 1970 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2023.

1 daughter, Hollie Westbrook & husband Rob of Campbellsville

1 son: Cory Gadberry & wife Jacki of Campbellsville

Step-son: Van Gadberry & wife Cabrina of Lebanon

8 grandchildren: Addie Sapp & husband Drew of Campbellsville, Reece Westbrook & fiancé McKenzie Kempf, Haleigh Gadberry and Hannah Gadberry of Bowling Green, Gwennie Wuertenberg of Elizabethtown, Analeigh Gadberry of Greensburg, and Mason Gadberry and Mekenzie Gadberry of Lebanon

4 brothers & 2 sisters: J. Paul Newton & wife Carlene, David Alan Newton & wife Angie, Carolyn Whitlock, and Mike Newton all of Campbellsville, Rick Newton & wife Kim of Elizabethtown, and Bonnie Claycomb & husband Eddie of Bowling Green

Margaret was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Billy Newton, Doris Ray Newton, Faye Atcher, Shirley Maupin, and Jan Cates.
