Everet “Tommy” Wright, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late William Everet Wright and Pansy Estelle Mitchell Wright, was born December 4, 1947 in Green County, KY. He died at 5:56 P.M., Monday, September 14, 2026 in Louisville. 

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Tommy was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Marines. He was a retired truck driver. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

His wife of 59 years: Ruby Wright of Campbellsville

1 son & 1 daughter: Mitch Wright & wife Amy of Bowling Green and Michelle Porter & husband Barry of Campbellsville

5 grandchildren: Brandon Porter & wife Toni and Matthew Porter of Campbellsville, Taylor Beal & husband Cameron, Payton Wright and Chloe Wright & fiancee’ Will Gaddis of Bowling Green

5 great-grandchildren: Brady Beal, Caroline Beal, Lane Porter, Addi Porter and Carson Porter

Tommy was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Leslie Wright and Nell Wright.
