Delta Jane Perkins Baker, 92, daughter of the late Elijah Thomas Perkins and Melissa Mable Vance Perkins, was born on November 19, 1933 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Green River Trails Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. Delta was a retired Fruit of the Loom machine operator.
She united in marriage to Charles Dillon Baker on Saturday, December 31, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1993.

17 great-grandchildren: Abby, Jake, Kyle, Trevor, Justin, Dillon, Aldon, Branson, Logan, Gracelynn, Weston, Layton, Reygan, Lillie, Kylie, Brax, and Jackson
2 sisters & 2 brothers: Doris Baker of Columbia, Della Thomason of Idaho, Mitchell Perkins of Campbellsville, and Terry Perkins of Park City
A host of other relatives & friends
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by one son, Charles Randall Baker; and three brothers: Thomas Perkins, Willis Perkins and Clayton Perkins.
