Delmar Rex Garrett, 59, the son of Lora Carter Garrett and the late Mitchell Garrett, was born on March 26, 1967 in Campbellsville. He departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2026 in Louisville. 

Rex was a farmer and carpenter by trade. He was of the Baptist faith. Rex enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and was an avid gardener.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Garrett; a sister, Caroline Rae Cox; and a half sister, Montrey Cox.

Interment: Tallow Creek Cemetery
