William Chad Dobson, 52, Greensburg, KY & Columbia, KY

 

William Chad Dobson, 52, of Greensburg, KY and also Adair County, KY, a son of Jackie Faye Parson Coffey & stepfather, Billy Dean Coffey of Columbia and the late William Joseph “Billy Joe” Dobson, was born on July 13, 1974 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. 

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Milltown Church in Adair County. Chad was also a former production line employee for Eaton Axle.

His mother and stepfather: Jackie Faye Parson Coffey & Billy Dean Coffey of Columbia

1 son: Kayden Dobson of Campbellsville

Grandmother: Frances Dobson of Greensburg

1 brother: Chris Dobson of Columbia

Stepbrother: Steve Coffey & wife Shelia of Adair County

Stepsister: Deana Coffey Parrott & husband Walt of Greensburg

Aunt: Darlene Bishop of Greensburg

His companion: Missy Garmon of Adair County

Special friend: Ms. Elizabeth Dilley

Chad was also preceded in death by grandparents: Finis A. Dobson, and Gertrude Lane; aunt and uncles: Mel and Barbara Salsman, and J.R. Bishop.

Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pmCT on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Barney Taylor officiating

 

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Saturday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home

 

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Morris Chapel Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
