Anita “Granny” Price, 94, was born May 28, 1932, in Green County, KY to the late Farlon and Letha Marshall Price. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at her home in the Summersville community of Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Summersville Baptist Church. Granny retired from Fruit of the Loom after working there for 30 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed quilting and her flowers.

She united in marriage to Leonard Price, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby; a grandson, Cody Puryear; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marshall (Monk) & Charolett Price and Gene & Louise Price.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons & 2 daughters: Gordon & Robin Price, Todd Price, Phyllis & Louis Brady, and Wendy & Otis Puryear of Green County

9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren & 6 great-great-grandchildren

Visitation: Friday, September 4, 2026 from 5:00pm-9:00pmET at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY and Saturday after 8:30amET at the church
