Russell E. Head, 61, of Knob Lick, KY, son of the late William Earl Head and Loretta M. Bailey Johnson, was born on May 7, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked as a tree trimmer.

He was united in marriage to Carolyn Parnell Head on February 24, 1994, and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2023.

3 daughters: Alaura Keen of Scottsville, Rachel Childress of Magnolia, and Bethany Head of Cave City

1 son: William Head of Bowling Green

11 grandchildren: Skyler, Aubrey, Macie, Liam, River, Kendall, Ariell, Kainen, Kennedy, Annalise, & Adaline

2 siblings: Pamela Walters and Lesslie Johnson both of Indiana
