Willie Ray “Bill” Shipp, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Ernest Shipp and Roberta Smith Shipp, was born on June 17, 1957 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in Columbia, KY.

He was a former employee of Walmart, Parker-Kalon, and Malone Realty, and was a photographer. Bill enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling, photography, hunting mushrooms, and attending concerts.

2 nephews: Galen Shipp of Indiana and James Shipp of Campbellsville

1 sister-in-law: Geneva Shipp of Campbellsville

His adopted family: Sandy Parent (Greg), Veronica England-Lobb (John), Alex England (Logan), and Katie England

His god-children: Jaclyn Bottoms, Chase Bottoms, and Kari Negron

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Ernest M. Shipp and James Edward Shipp.

Visitation: Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 4:30pm-6:30pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow
