James B. “JR” White, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late J.B White and Mary E. McNeece White, was born June 28, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN and departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

JR was a carpet installer and was of the Methodist Faith. He enjoyed fishing was a member of the Shriners Temple, and Southport Masonic Lodge #270 F&AM in Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite. JR was a veteran and served honorably in the United States Army.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert, Betty, Mary, Wanda, Doris, Patty, Barbara, and Helen and by three nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 2:00pm-4:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with cremation to follow
