Susan Lee Paxton, 65, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Leon Paxton and Lois Lowe Paxton, was born on Saturday, June 3, 1961 in Louisville and departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2026 at her home. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Susan was a graduate of Green County High School Class of 1979. She went on to attend Western Kentucky University where she graduated with a Post Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Therapy in 1987. Susan was on the softball league for Bowling Green City and the Warren County League.

She united in marriage to her wife, Deborah Ann Hoagland Paxton, on February 20, 2018.

The Paxton family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Philip Thomas Judd and Nancy Sidebottom for your love, support, and assistance in whatever was needed for her care. Thank you to the Hosparus of Green River Team, especially Sarah and Stacy, for all of your guidance and support.

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be conducted at Bethlehem Cemetery at a later date.
