Billy Joe Kerr, 72, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Will Joe Kerr and Barbara McMahan Kerr Murphy, was born October 12, 1953 in Quantico, Viriginia. He died at 7:33 P.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Presbyterian faith. Billy Joe was a retired logger and a World Champion Lumberjack. He was an outgoing and charismatic person and enjoyed eating breakfast with the Cornerstone Crew. Billy Joe loved spending time with his family, tractor pulling and riding around the farm.

He united in marriage to Sandra Quinn December 14, 1972 and she preceded him in death.

2 daughters: Lyndi Hagan and Leann Kerr Bland of Campbellsville

4 grandchildren: Kelsi Bland, Mariah Cable, Jaxon Bland and RaiLee Hagan

5 great-grandchildren: Kinley Edelen, Wesson Edelen, Oaklin Begley, Abell Garrett and Knox Begley

1 brother: John Kerr & wife Donna of Campbellsville

2 brothers-in-law: Lloyd Morris of Campbellsville and Randy Quinn & wife Melinda of Knifley

Billy Joe was also preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Tyann Morris on September 25, 2024.
