Cheri Parke, 65, Campbellsville, KY

 

Cheri Parke, 65, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of Faye Hayward Rafferty Howell and the late Joe Beard, was born July 7, 1961 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:28 A.M. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in Lexington, KY. 

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a strong Christian woman. Cheri was an employee of Fruit of the Loom and Campbellsville Apparel. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family members. She also liked gardening, taking day trips and shopping with close friends. She was a pillar of strength for her family, providing a willing, helpful hand and serving others wherever she saw a need.

 

She was united in marriage to Michael Lee Parke on June 4, 1993 who preceded her in death on July 23, 2015. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Beard on July 25, 2024.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 daughter: Amanda & son-in law Scott Hess of Campbellsville

2o grandchildren: Kate Hess and Karlee Hess

Her mother: Faye Howell & husband James Hugh “Tuddy” Howell of Campbellsville

Her step-mother: Mildred Beard of Campbellsville

1 brother: Jeremy Hogan & wife Aggie of Texas

Step-brother: Bill Howell & wife Kim of Prospect, KY

3 step-sisters: Bobbi Faulkner & husband Dean of Campbellsville, Alison Starcher & husband Jeremy of Florence, and Michelle Ellis & husband Rick of Springfield, TN
