William Paul “Bill” Fain, 73, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Billy Joe Fain and Mildred Williamson Fain, was born on July 3, 1953 in Dallas, TX and departed this life on August 19, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. 

Bill was a long-time community servant having cared for many people in Taylor County over the years as an EMT, Paramedic, and Respiratory Therapist, and as a Registered Nurse at Taylor Regional Hospital. Bill was in the second graduating class of Paramedics in Kentucky, and helped in the construction of the Campbellsville-Taylor County Rescue Squad building.

His children: Andy Fain (Brittany) of Campbellsville, Stacey Fain Lewis and Bethany Ezell of Gallatin, TN and Joseph Fain and Chris Fain

3 grandchildren: Austin Fain, Kirk Fain, and Emily Ezell

1 brother: David Fain of Campbellsville

His two fur babies: Butterscotch & Peaches

His former spouse & significant other: Pam Laboyteaux of Campbellsville

Bill’s wishes were to be cremated and to have no formal service.
