Eli M. Weaver, 88, of Greensburg, KY passed away at Taylor Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was born on April 16, 1938 at Deep Creek, Virginia to the late Mahlon and Sarah (Kramer) Weaver.

He received Christ as his Savior in his youth and was a faithful member of the Summersville Mennonite Church in Green County, KY.

His wife of 67 years: Irene (Yoder) Weaver

6 children: Rosie married to Eli Kauffman of Brooksville, MS; Leonard Weaver married to Joyce of Hartselle, AL; Freeman Weaver married to Mary Ann of Cullman, AL; Thomas Weaver married to Elaine of Campbellsville, KY; Verna married to Noah Yoder of Lyndon, KS; and Edward Weaver married to Martha of Starkville, MS

1 sister: Barbara

42 grandchildren & 62 great-grandchildren

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, four brothers: (Clarence, Irvin, Noah, and Mahlon); four sisters: (Mary, Emma, Katie, and Bertha); one grandson, (Matthias); and two great-grandsons: (Trevor and Travis).

Funeral Service: Monday, August 10, 2026 at 10:00amCT at the Summersville Mennonite Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery

Visitation: Sunday from 2:00pm-4:00pmCT and Sunday from 6:00pm-8:00pmCT at the Summersville Mennonite Church.
