Ronald Babcock, 68, Bowling Green, KY

 

Ronald Babcock, 68, of Bowling Green, KY, son of the late Russell George Babcock and Ida Mae Remington Babcock, was born on October 28, 1957 in Louisville and departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. 

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and would attend church with his wife, Brenda. Ron was the previous owner of Ron & Brenda’s Transportation and worked as a manager and businessman. He loved to travel and was ready to travel the world with his wife. In his free time, Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, which was his pride and joy.

 

SURVIVORS:

His wife of 24 years: Brenda Sue Dial Babcock of Bowling Green

2 sons & daughters-in-law: George & Kristy Judd of Green County and Joe & Melissa Judd of Indiana

4 grandchildren: Hannah Judd, Haley Johnson, and Nash Johnson all of Greensburg; and Owen Judd and Lila Judd of Indiana

1 sister: Deanna Lee of Florida

Niece: Christy (& Donald) Kessler of Somerset

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

 

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Allen Babcock; a brother-in-law, Larry Lee; and a nephew, Joseph Lee.

Funeral Service: Monday, July 27, 2026 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Walker officiating

 

Burial: Green County Memory Gardens

 

Visitation: Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 3:30pm-7:00pmCT and Monday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home

 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Kentucky which can be made at the funeral home.
