Darla Gail Jeffries, 67, of Greensburg, KY was born August 18, 1958 in Jefferson County, KY to the late Ualies and Gail Clark Jeffries. She departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026 at her home.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Darla was a volunteer firefighter in Washington County. She loved spending time with her family. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone. Darla also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Jeffrey and Nicky Jeffries and Mona Davis.

1 daughter: Jennifer Poynter (Willie Lydick) of Louisville

5 brothers & sisters: Kathy Miller, Tony Jeffries, and Marlene Matheis of Greensburg; Tonya Jeffries of Springfield and Michael Jeffries of Louisville

5 grandchildren: Tyron Poynter (Ashlee), Amare Poynter, Zach Wilson (Lindsay), Jordan Lydick (Kendra), and Kaitlin Sears (Zach)

6 great-grandchildren: Kaizlyn Poynter, Ava Lydick, Huxley Wilson, Lincoln Sears, Ellie Sears and Bryson Sears
