J.W. Hardin, 85, of Raikes Hill Road, Elkhorn, KY, son of the late Joe H. Hardin and Villa Malone Hardin, was born April 6,1941 in Louisville, KY and joined his Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Methodist faith. J.W. loved the Lord and loved to worship when he was able. He was a member of the Merrimac Masonic Lodge.

He united in marriage to Linda Richerson Hardin and she preceded him in death on August 6, 2012.

2 sisters: Shirley (Frank) Cheatham of Campbellsville, KY and Carole (Tom) Cheatham of Lexington, KY

Sister-in-law: Brenda McCauley of Lebanon, KY

2 sons: Jeffery Hardin of Lebanon, KY and Michael Hardin of Elkhorn, KY

1 daughter: Lisa (Ernie) Conder of Danville, KY

2 grandsons: Kyle Hardin of Greensburg, KY and Gage Conder of Danville, KY

2 granddaughters: Jasalynn and Chloe Richards of Danville, KY

Many nieces & nephews

He also preceded in death by his three brothers: Harold Morris Hardin, Charles H. Hardin and Joseph Michael Hardin.
