Sharon Gabbert, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Roscoe Shofner and Audrey Marie Thompson Shofner, was born May 25, 1949 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:43 P.M. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Louisville.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Southside Christian Church. Sharon was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and worked as a Custodian for the Taylor County School System. She was a faithful member of Southside Christian Church. She loved puzzles and spending time with her family as much as she could, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Sharon united in marriage to Terry Gabbert on February 25, 1972 and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2006.

1 daughter: Treva Phillips & husband Bobby of Columbia
9 grandchildren: Cody Gabbert & wife Lori of Columbia, Amber Phillips & fiancé Barry Tungate of Knifley, Audrey Gabbert, Lydia Gabbert, and Isabelle Gabbert of Shepherdsville, and Emma Gabbert, Jaxson Gabbert, Elisa Gabbert, and Sadie Gabbert of Campbellsville
3 great-grandchildren: Harper Gabbert and Aslynn Gabbert of Columbia, and Tegan Tungate of Knifley
2 sisters: Diane Walters of Campbellsville and Linda Sumrall & husband Eddie of Big Level, Mississippi
Sister-in-law: Ann Shofner of Pasadena, Texas

Sharon was also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers: Brenda Sumrall, Kenny Shofner, Larry Shofner, Jerry Shofner, W.R. Shofner, and Garnett Shofner.
