Sara Frances Dehoney Noe, 88, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Ewell Thomas Dehoney and Mary Francis Thompson Dehoney, was born on February 22, 1938 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ladies Chapel Methodist Church. Sara Frances had previously worked as a store clerk at the old Gate gas station and convenience store. She loved spending time with her family and watching reruns of Gunsmoke every day.

She was united in marriage to Harold J. “Jackie” Noe on December 13, 1958 who preceded her in death on February 15, 2004.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons & a daughter-in-law: Kent & Karen Noe of Greensburg and Brad Noe of Illinois

4 grandchildren: Rhiannon & Quinn Lowe of Greensburg, Josh Noe of Louisville, Kelli Noe of Greensburg, and Brandon Noe of Mount Washington

3 great-grandchildren: Luxy, Lemmy, and Creek

In-laws: Pat & Charles Paxton of North Carolina, Sandy & Danny Allgeier of Louisville, and Delia Durrett of Summersville

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Dehoney.

Funeral Service: Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 2:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis officiating

Burial: Bennett Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Sunday at the funeral home
