Eunice Marie Lathrop Cox, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Lakeland, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at UK Hospice in Lexington, KY. She was born January 26, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late James Lathrop and Betty Watson Lathrop.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse George Cox; one brother, Howard Lathrop; and one sister, Bertha Milam. 

She was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her grandchildren, her friends, and her family. One of her greatest enjoyments was going to the beach.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Dorothy & Ronnie Huston of Celina, Ohio

2 brothers & sisters-in-law: Martin & Tonya Lathrop of Marshal, Illinois and Herman & Cynthia Lathrop of Tucson, Arizona

1 sister: Beverly Edwards of Terre Haute, Indiana

10 grandchildren: Joe Brewster, David Brewster, Kathryn Butcher, Brice Grill, Jared Brewster, Jewell Brewster, Jaden Brewster, Michael Huston, Elizabeth Huston and Jesse Brewster
