Juanita Joyce Skaggs, 88, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late John William Warren and Ida Jane Oakes Warren, was born September 30, 1937 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Buffalo Church of the Nazarene. Juanita was a homemaker and a former employee of Brown & Williamson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, porch sitting, and watching the hummingbirds.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Skaggs; a daughter, Lou Ann Zirnheld; a half-sister, Faye Goodin; a half-brother, Charles Warren; an infant brother, William Warren; and a grandchild, Shannon Brown.

SURVIVORS:

5 grandchildren: Vera Case (Tyler), Vivian McKenzie (Parker), Dalton Brown (Sarah Ann), Alice McGuffin, and Devon Bates

6 great-grandchildren: Brayden Case, Mason Perkins, Layden Case, Braxten Case, Preston Milby, and Mayzie Milby

1 brother: Donald Ray Warren (Peggy) of Magnolia

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11:00amET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Mitch Hedge and Donnie Warren officiating

Burial: Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington

Visitation: Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
