Talmond J. “Pete” Pierce, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Vernon P. Pierce and Effie Blankenship Pierce, was born March 18, 1941 in Green County, KY. He died at 12:06pmET on Friday, June 19, 2026 in Elizabethtown. 

He served his country honorably in the Army National Guard and Reserves. Pete was a farmer and retired employee of Cox Interior. He was a great husband. He enjoyed fishing and working in his garden.

His wife of 43 years: Sue Pierce of Campbellsville

1 step-daughter: Paige Gibson & husband Troy of Campbellsville

1 step-granddaughter: Candace Gibson & fiancé Tanner Cox

His nieces & nephews: Gary Houk, Vonda Reynolds, Vickie Harmon, Greg Houk, Vanessa Warren and David Pierce
