Cindy Akridge, 59, Campbellsville, KY

 

Cindy Akridge, 59, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of Dwalla Rash Akridge and the late Clyde Akridge, was born August 26, 1966 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 1:43amET on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

 

Cindy had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. She was a retired business owner, CNA and seamstress.

 

Cindy was a beautiful soul whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand and loved others wholeheartedly, especially her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Family and friends meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent making memories with those she loved.

 

Affectionately known as “Mimi,” she embraced that title with immense pride and joy. Her grandchildren adored her, and the love she shared with them was truly special. Cindy was a talented seamstress whose creativity and skill brought joy to many. She also had a passion for travel and especially enjoyed going on cruises and exploring new places.

 

Above all, Cindy loved Jesus. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life—with grace, generosity, and unwavering love for others. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

1 son: Nick Pendleton & wife Bailee of Campbellsville

1 daughter: Brittany Wells & husband Logan of Shepherdsville

4 grandchildren: Leighton Wells, Everett Wells, Ivy Pendleton and Demi Pendleton

Her mother: Dwalla Akridge of Campbellsville

1 brother: Lee Akridge & wife Suzette of Campbellsville

Niece: Samantha Akridge
