Bonnie Louise Maupin Luckett, 85, of Lebanon, KY, the daughter of the late Harry Maupin and Stella Buckman Maupin, was born April 16, 1941 in Lebanon, and departed this life on June 9, 2026. 

She was of the Catholic Faith and attended the St. Augustine Catholic Church. She received her master’s degree, was a teacher and retired after 27 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and her grandchildren.

She united in marriage to Joseph Randall Luckett on December 26, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2024.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Angelini, and two brothers: Joseph William “J.W.” Maupin and James Donald Maupin, Sr..

SURVIVORS:

3 children: Kim Jarvis, Joe Luckett and Jill Luckett all of Lebanon

3 grandchildren: Danielle Lewis (Ben), Rebekah Hudson, and Haylee Connelly (Ethan)

4 great-grandchildren: Pearl Jarvis, Sam Lewis, and Stella Lewis, Eleanor Connelly

A host of nieces & nephews

5 siblings: Anita Davis of Elgin, SC, Bernard Maupin of Beaver Dam, KY, Joan Abell and Linda Hayes both of Lebanon, and Paula Jay of Louisville

Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00amET at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Terry Bradshaw officiating

Interment: St. Augustine Church Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amET on Wednesday at the church 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and can be made at the church on Wednesday or online.
