OBITS

Margaret Jeanine Burress, 76, Campbellsville, KY

Margaret Jeanine Burress, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Linus and Avis England Bright, was born February 6, 1950 in Taylor County, KY and passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Margaret united in marriage to the love of her life, Roger Burress in 1968. They were married for 42 years, until his death on January 28, 2012. She professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God. Margaret worked at Fruit of the Loom for several years and then opened and co-owned Burress' Grocery in the Speck Ridge community, with Roger, until his death. For the last several years, she proudly helped take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren anytime she could.
